Interlaboratory comparison (ILC)

Interlaboratory comparison (ILC) consists in intercomparison of measurement results of a laboratory and a reference laboratory which is in the country highest authority in the field of measurement. The goal of and interlaboratory comparison is to verify the technical competence of accredited or non-accredited calibration laboratories and to validate their measurement methods and uncertainty statement.

Czech Metrology Institute is an accredited PT provider according to EN ISO/IEC 17043 "Conformity assessment - General requirements for the competence of proficiency testing providers" with more than 20 years of experience.

Czech Metrology Institute organizes:

INTERLABORATORY COMPARISON (ILC): based on an annual ILC pogram with participation of a number of calibration laboratories on national and international level.

BILATERAL INTERLABORATORY COMPARISON (BILC): organized on an application of a laboratory and tailored to its special requirements. Application for bilateral interlaboratory comparison can be downloaded here - APPLICATION FOR BILC
