Electronic registry of Czech Metrology Institute

  • Send your submission as an email attachment in the following formats:

  • Electronic submissions can be also handed over on the data medium (CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM+-, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW+-, USB disc) directly to the address of relevant Internal Organizational Units (IOU). Contacts for individual IOU are listed here.
  • Your submission must be electronically signed by an accredited electronic signature (guaranteed signature or qualified electronic signature), issued by I.CAČeská pošta or eIdentity as a qualified provider of trust services for electronic transactions.
  • According to Act No. 297/2016 Coll., and the other regulations relating to the competence of the CMI, these submissions can be sent to the electronic registry:
    • Requests for information according Act. No. 106/1999 Coll., (Freedom of Information Act), as amended;
    • Submissions in administrative proceedings (proposals for initiating administrative proceedings, appeals etc.);
    • Regular correspondence with CMI;
    • Complaints and suggestions to CMI.
  • E-mail with electronic submission addressed to electronic registry (epodatelna@cmi.gov.cz) is confirmed to sender if it is possible to find out his e-mail address from this submission.
  • A data message at which was detected malicious code or a wrong format is not processed. If the sender's electronic address or sender's mailbox can be retrieved from the received data message, the notification of the malicious software is sent to this address. If the sender does not receive a delivery confirmation message, it is probable that it was a damaged message that cannot be processed.
  • E-mail without the accredited electronic signature can be sent directly to the email address of the CMI employee who deals with the demanded agenda. Email will not be considered as an electronically filed document, but our employees will try to answer it. The e-mail addresses of particular workplaces and employees of the Czech Metrology Institute to which these submissions can be sent you can see in the Contacts section.
  • The Czech Metrology Institute established an electronic registry based on:
    • Decree No. 259/2012 Coll., on The details of the performance of the file service, as amended;
    • Act No. 499/2004 Coll., on Archiving and recording service, as amended;
    • Act No. 297/2016 Coll., on Trust services for electronic transactions;
    • Act No. 500/2004 Coll., Administrative Code, as amended.
